Animal Scientists research in the genetics, nutrition, reproduction, growth, and development of domestic farm animals.
Students interested in this career would complete the Associate in Science (AS) degree and transfer to a baccalaureate science degree at a four-year college or university. The AS curriculum courses focus on courses such as biology, chemistry, engineering, geology, mathematics, or physics.
