Computer programmers create, modify, and test the code and scripts that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software and web developers or other individuals. May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
The Information Technology Software Development Associate degree curriculum at ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ prepares students to help you start your way towards this career. Students will learn to design and develop software solutions based on user needs and requirements; create, modify, and test code and computer applications; develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve data and information; and design, implement, and administer computer databases.
