Join us for the Student Safety Summit, an experience designed to spark real conversations, build practical safety skills, and connect you with resources that help you to safe.
What to Expect: This isn’t your average lecture—think small group activities, interactive discussions, and hands-on learning. You’ll rotate through engaging breakout sessions that cover:
- Navigating Everbridge: Learn how to stay informed and respond quickly during campus alerts and emergencies.
- Bystander Intervention: Discover how to safely step in and support others in tough situations.
- Understanding Conduct: Know your responsibilities, rights, and how to make smart choices on and off campus.
- Counseling & Accessibility Resources: Explore mindfulness tools and support systems that help you thrive—mentally, emotionally, and academically.
- Knowing Your Rights: From voting registration to self-identifying with law enforcement, Iesha Cleveland breaks down what every student should know.
- Healthy Relationships: Learn how to build respectful, supportive connections—with friends, partners, and yourself.
Whether you're a first-year student or a seasoned senior, this summit is your chance to speak up, listen in, and walk away feeling empowered. Plus, there’ll be snacks, giveaways, and plenty of chances to meet new people. Want to participate in a tabletop exercise that will walk you through an emergency situation on campus, register for the Tabletop Exercise that will be held from 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. or from 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
