The Cooperative Innovative High School (CIHS) Pathway is for students planning to attend small public high schools, located on the campus of an institute of higher education, where students work toward completion of both the high school diploma and an associate鈥檚 degree, transferrable credit, or career certificate. The three high schools in 吃瓜头条鈥檚 service area are listed below.
The 吃瓜头条 Early College of Health Sciences represents a partnership between 吃瓜头条 Public Schools, 吃瓜头条nical Community College, Duke Health, and Bloomberg Philanthropies. It is located in the RTP area and is open to rising 9th graders who reside in 吃瓜头条 County. Students will complete honors-level high school courses and will take free college-level classes. While in high school, students will work towards completion of one of the following health care programs through 吃瓜头条: Clinical Trials Research, Licensed Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting, Nursing (RN), or Surgical Technology.
The 2025-2026 school year application will be available from January 6, 2025, through January 31, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Visit to learn more about applying and to sign up for an information session.

CMA is located across the street from 吃瓜头条 Regional Hospital where its students in grades 9-12 are prepared in a rigorous academic environment and through hands-on health care experiences for demanding careers in various medical communities.
